TVPA is a grassroots organization dedicated to preserving Tassajara Valley's Open Space, Natural Resources, Watersheds, Wildlife Habitats and Corridors, which will help ensure the overall sustainability of  our community and county.

Our representatives are under constant pressure from land developers to allow urban sprawl outside the voter mandated Urban Limit Line.  Tassajara Valley, in particular, is a hot spot for land speculators, because of its close proximate to high-end housing and excellent schools. Please click on the link to read a brief history of the proposed urban developments.

Organizations such as Greenbelt Alliance have helped protect Tassajara Valley from urban sprawl, but now more than ever, voters need to join the effort to save the land we love and the water we need!

Protecting Contra Costa County's Urban Limit Line, not only protects Tassajara Valley from urban sprawl, but protects important county agriculture lands, open space and wildlife habitat, that we need in order to have a sustainable county for generations to come.

Our Mission

To defend the Contra Costa County Urban Limit Line mandated by our county's voters!

When we try to pick out anything by itself we find that it is bound fast by a thousand invisible cords that cannot be broken, to everything else in the universe.
